Information on Concussions
CMF Public Media has just posted an on-line audio podcast on concussions in youth football. It includes interviews with our president John Girard, some of our parents, sports medicine physician Dr. Matt Rosen of Oviedo and State Representative Chris Dorworth of Seminole County. The feature includes a description of the symptoms of concussion and the ways in which equipment and trained coaches can help avoid concussions. The web page also includes links to other sites that can provide excellent information about recognizing and preventing concussions.
